Overview

Our APAC Private Equity funds primarily pursue structured growth equity investments in control, joint control and minority ownership formats. We focus on investing in consumer-driven companies that give us exposure to increasing consumer spending and urbanization in our target markets. In particular, we focus on seven key consumer categories that we believe benefit disproportionately from higher disposable income levels.

In addition, in times of economic dislocation we seek to invest in deep value transactions. For deep value investments, we focus on dislocations and catalysts, often driven by macroeconomic,

sector, geography or owner-specific issues that can lead to high-quality assets becoming available for purchase or investment at deeply-discounted prices. While we also look for deep value opportunities in consumer-driven companies, our deep value approach can develop into asset-oriented opportunities.

The APAC Private Equity team has professionals located in offices in Singapore, Shanghai, and other strategic areas in the Asia Pacific region.
