Alex Khein

Mr. Khein is a Partner and Head of Ares Systematic Credit in the Ares Credit Group. Additionally, Mr. Khein serves as a member of the Ares Systematic Credit Investment Committee. Prior to joining Ares in 2026, Mr. Khein was Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of BlueCove, a systematic fixed income asset management firm. Previously, Mr. Khein was Chief Executive Officer of BlueBay Asset Management and Co-Chief Executive Officer of RBC Global Asset Management. Mr. Khein holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University in Physics. Mr. Khein is a registered member of the National Futures Association.
