Mr. Agarwal is a Partner, Head and Chief Investment Officer in Ares Insurance Solutions. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Ares Insurance Solutions Investment Committee. Prior to joining Ares in 2025, Mr. Agarwal was a Senior Investment Advisor at Global Atlantic Financial Group, where he was responsible for managing the firm's insurance platform and driving investment capabilities in origination, structuring, execution and management across all asset classes. Previously, Mr. Agarwal was a Chief Investment Officer at the firm. In addition, Mr. Agarwal was the Head of Structured Credit and Loan Strategy at Western Asset Management. Mr. Agarwal holds a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, India and an M.B.A. from Temple University, Philadelphia in Finance.
