Mr. Gutierrez is a Partner in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on real estate in Mexico. Prior to joining Ares in 2024, Mr. Gutierrez was a Managing Partner and Head of Asset Management and Financing at Walton Street Capital Mexico. Previously, Mr. Gutierrez was a Deal Leader at GE Capital Real Estate, where he led the underwriting of debt and equity transactions in Mexico. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe (HOTEL), a Mexican listed company, and as the Treasurer of the Mexican Association of Real Estate and Infrastructure Funds. Mr. Gutierrez holds a B.A. from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in Finance and Accounting and an M.B.A. from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business with a concentration in Finance.
