Managing Director
Mr. Güemez is a Managing Director in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on real estate in Mexico. Prior to joining Ares in 2024, Mr. Güemez was a Senior Principal at Walton Street Capital Mexico, where he focused on the origination, negotiation and execution of transactions in the industrial and logistics sector. Previously, he served as CFO and CIO at MRP Capital Group, a real estate private equity group in Mexico, where he focused on investment and divesting of properties as well as fund raising. In addition, Mr. Güemez was the CEO and Managing Director at LaSalle Investment Management in Mexico and a Managing Director of Equity for GE Real Estate. Mr. Güemez currently serves on the Board of AMPIP and Amexcap, where he heads the Finance Committee. Mr. Güemez holds a B.S. from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. from Stanford University in Operations Research.
