Partner, Global Chief Operating Officer of Ares Real Estate
Ms. McKay is a Partner and Global Chief Operating Officer of Ares Real Estate. She serves as Vice President and Assistant Secretary of Ares Commercial Real Estate Corporation. Ms. McKay serves on the Ares Real Estate Global Investment Committee. Prior to joining Ares in 2019, Ms. McKay was Director and Chief of Staff of the Real Estate Group at Annaly Capital Management, Inc., where she focused on the operations of the group as well as legal and transaction structuring. Previously, Ms. McKay was an Associate at Allen & Overy LLP, where she focused on real estate and project finance. In addition, she was a Real Estate Investment Banking Analyst at Wachovia Securities. Ms. McKay holds a B.S., summa cum laude, from Auburn University in Finance and Economics, an M.S.F. from the University of Florida and a J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.
