Managing Director, Head of Product Management and Investor Relations, Systematic Credit
Ms. DeGarmo is a Managing Director and Head of Product Management and Investor Relations in the Ares Investor Relations Group. Additionally, Ms. DeGarmo serves on the Ares Systematic Credit Investment Committee. Prior to joining Ares in 2026, Ms. DeGarmo was the Head of Product Strategy at BlueCove. Previously, Ms. DeGarmo held several positions at BlackRock (formerly Barclays Global Investors) including as a Managing Director in Fixed Income and Multi-Asset Strategies and Co-Head of Global Credit at BGI. In addition, Ms. DeGarmo was an Executive Director of European Credit Portfolio Management at Goldman Sachs. Ms. DeGarmo holds a Bachelors in Mathematics and Russian from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the London Business School. Ms. DeGarmo is a CFA® charterholder.
