Mr. Fitzgerald is a Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel (Credit) in the Ares Legal and Compliance Group. He is General Counsel, Vice President and Secretary of Ares Capital Corporation, General Counsel and Secretary of Ares Strategic Income Fund, and General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Ares Dynamic Credit Allocation Fund, Inc. and CION Ares Diversified Credit Fund. He may from time to time serve as an officer, director or principal of other entities affiliated with Ares Management or investment funds managed by Ares Management and its affiliates. Prior to joining Ares in 2010, Mr. Fitzgerald was an Associate in the Corporate Group at the law firm of Latham & Watkins, where he focused on corporate finance and general corporate and securities laws matters. Mr. Fitzgerald holds a B.S.B.A. from Bucknell University in Accounting and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Texas at Austin.
