James Zhao

Mr. Zhao is a Vice President in the Ares Investor Relations Group, where he focuses on credit product management and investor relations. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, Mr. Zhao was an Associate at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management, where he helped advise ultra high-net-worth entrepreneurs, executives and families on all aspects of investment management. Previously, Mr. Zhao was an Analyst at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Hong Kong. Mr. Zhao holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in Political Economy.
