Miro Velchev

Mr. Velchev is a Managing Director within Ares Enterprise Risk Management. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Mr. Velchev was an Executive Director and Head of Risk Identification at UBS, where he led the bank's Risk Identification Program. Previously, Mr. Velchev was an Associate Vice President at JP Morgan Chase, a Manager at Blackstone and a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young, where he focused on internal audit. Mr. Velchev holds a B.S. from Louisiana State University in Finance.
