Nicholas Onie

Mr. Onie is a Principal in the Ares Private Equity Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2025, Mr. Onie was a Principal at Bain Capital Private Equity in Australia and the United States, where he focused on originating and executing private equity transactions as well as managing a range of portfolio companies. Previously, Mr. Onie was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs in Australia. Mr. Onie holds a B. Com. and an LL.B. from the University of Sydney as well as an M.B.A. with Honors from The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
