Mr. Popp is a Vice President in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on European real estate equity. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Mr. Popp was an Associate on the Private Equity, Real Estate Acquisitions team at Starwood Capital. Previously, Mr. Popp was an Investment Banking Analyst on the Real Estate Investment Banking team at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Popp holds a B.Sc. from Goethe University in Economics and Business Administration and an M.Sc. from HEC Paris in International Finance.
