Ms. Roney is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Ares Corporate Communications Group. She serves as a lead media spokesperson for Ares and oversees external, internal and digital communications across the firm's global platform. Additionally, Ms. Roney serves on the Ares Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. Prior to joining Ares in 2017, Ms. Roney was a Director at Joele Frank, a financial communications firm, where she advised clients on a wide range of situations, providing investor relations and communications support to companies across a number of industries. Ms. Roney holds a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College in Economics and Romance Languages and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
