Mr. Young is a Principal in the Ares Global Client Solutions Group, where he focuses on strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Ares in 2024, Mr. Young was a Director in the Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions Group at BlackRock, where he focused on Global Tactical Asset Allocation portfolios as a portfolio manager trading several discretionary and systematic strategies. Previously, Mr. Young was an Associate Commodity Portfolio Manager on the Global Commodities team at BlackRock, where he focused on index, smart beta and risk premia strategies. In addition, he was a Research Analyst at Omega Capital and RBS Global Banking & Markets. Mr. Young holds a B.A. in Economics and Japanese and an M.Sc. in Finance and Development from SOAS University of London.
