Mr. Shyam is a Managing Director and Head of Fund Accounting, India in the Ares Finance and Accounting Department. Prior to joining Ares in 2019, Mr. Shyam was an Assistant Vice President and Director at State Street Corporation, where he focused on alternative investment services and transition management. Previously, Mr. Shyam was an Assistant Vice President at JP Morgan Chase, where he oversaw fund accounting services for the U.S. and European hedge funds and Hybrid funds along with project management. Mr. Shyam holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Banking and an E.P.B.M. from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.
