Hugh Willis

Mr. Willis is a Partner and Chairman of Ares Systematic Credit in the Ares Credit Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2026, he was Chairman and Co-Founder of BlueCove, a systematic fixed income asset management firm. Previously, he was Chairman, Chief Executive and Co-Founder of BlueBay Asset Management. He holds an M.A. from Cambridge University in History.
